The faculty of the AgRecoletos revised the curriculum of the agriculture course for next academic year, January 15.
The majority decided to change the name of the course from Bachelor of Science in Agriculture to Bachelor of Science in Business Agriculture with the same majors – Crop Science and Animal Science.
The reasons for retooling the curriculum is to give more preparation for students for the actual professional field and to encourage future agriculturists to enroll in the UNO-Recoletos.
To develop further the curriculum, the faculty will meet at least once a week to discuss the modules for every subject course.
Once the curriculum is completely retooled, it will be then subject for approval.
