One student of the School of Agriculture of the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos was qualified in the first ENVIRO-Quiz, April Batch elimination round.
Raymark Gentugao will be competing against 27 other contestants of the ENVIRO-Quiz, “Battle of the Agri-brain”, tomorrow, April 30.
Gentugao, a 20-year old student of UNO-Recoletos, has been a representative of the School of Agriculture in various agriculture quiz competitions.
The first ENVIRO-quiz is an initiative of Enviro Systems Synergy Inc., a pioneering Filipino company aiming to change the notion of how food is produced.
“We believed that sustainable food, enough to feed a growing population, can be produced naturally through natural processes and natural inputs,” Enivro Systems Synergy Inc. stated in their official Facebook page.
Gentugao, a resident of Barangay Tangub, will battle to become the representative of the April Batch to the Grand Final face-to-face Battle of the Brain in December 2020.
Batch representatives will get a chance to become the first champion and win Php50,000.00 worth of products, and Php10,000.00 cash.
The ENVIRO-Quiz is an opportunity for high school graduating students, agriculture college students (first year to 3rd year) in the Philippines.
Aside from winning ENVIRO products and cash, the winner will also be receiving a “full college scholarship grant and sure employment contract after graduation,” together with a trophy and certificate.
The ENVIRO-Quiz, “Battle of the Agri-brain”, will be live in Enviro Scope Facebook page tomorrow, April 30, at 3:30 p.m.
