The CHED Tulong Agri Program (TAP) granted scholarship to 12 students enrolled in the Agriculture Program of UNO-Recoletos.
Based on CHEDRO Memorandum No. 256, series of 2021, the students must submit the required documents to receive the “financial assistance at these times of crisis brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic”.
The 12 BS Agri students granted with CHED TAP are: Jestine Diane Exaltado, Kimberly Jingco, Anna Mae Poblacion, Marinel Lovino, Warren Sarona, Edmie Mata, Jienybel Tiangson, Eugene Lobaton, Dave Matthew Magbanua, Jude Baylon, Vincent Dominic Ade Perocho, and RB Michael Camalon.
“In almost 100 plus students applied in this scholarship, it is an honor to to be one of the 12 students granted with CHED TAP Scholarship. I feel overwhelmed and relieved because in that way I can lessen the expenses my parents are paying every semester for my tuition. I can say that TAP is one of the aides for the many stepping stones in pursuing my course and make me to focus more on my study,” Perocho, BS Agri 2nd year students, said.
“It is extremely heartwarming, and I’m so grateful that I am blessed to be one of the scholars, especially because we don’t have a business during this pandemic. With the support of this scholarship, I am motivated to continue my college studies,” Jingco, BS Agri 1st year student, said.
