Selected Artians present their researches to the panel members of the Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Research Exposition (A+SURE) 2022.
The College of Arts and Sciences held the A+SURE on the President’s Hall with the theme “ETHOS: Evangelization and Truth in the Heart of Outstanding Solidarity,” last June 7.
The Agriculture Society participated in the said event along with three other CAS student societies – Psychology, Social Work, and Communication and the Arts.
Agrecoletos students Mark Gentugao and Michelle Baisa presented their research study entitled “Growth and Performance of Rabbit Weaners Fed with Fresh Banana Leaves” for the Oral Presentation Category. Their research is about rabbit meat as a potential substitute for pork, as the African Swine Fever (ASF) and the Bird Flu continue to become a threat to the meat industry.
Meanwhile, the research study on the Growth Performance Of Broiler Chicken Fed with Mealworm (Tenebrio molitor) Enriched Ration of Trihna Mondia and Felixberto Bais V was chosen as the entry of the Agri Society for the Poster category.
Furthermore, the event showcased how knowledgeable and innovative the students are in the field of research, which wrapped up the event’s success.
